Kelly Clarkson and her husband are splitting up, multiple media outlets are reporting.
News outlets reported Thursday that Clarkson has filed for divorce from husband Brandon Blackstock after nearly seven years.
The singer, who was born in Fort Worth and grew up in Burleson, Texas, filed court papers June 4 in Los Angeles, according to the Associated Press. Clarkson and Blackstock have been married since October 2013 and have two children together, CNN reported.
“The Voice” judge cited “irreconcilable differences” in the filing, according to E! News. Court documents say the couple had a prenuptial agreement, the Associated Press said.
The two were together at their property in Montana during the coronavirus pandemic, according to CNN.
