UPS driver accused of selling drugs out of company truck, Texas cops say

El Paso County deputies arrested a man after receiving a tip that he was possibly selling narcotics out of the UPS truck he was operating, officials said.

Armando Barron, 39, is accused of using his UPS work truck to deliver controlled substances for sale, KFOX 14 reported.

In October, deputies “initiated an operation following information received about the possible promotion and sale of illegal narcotics,” authorities said in a news release.

Barron was arrested on Thursday and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility, where he is charged with three counts of manufacturing, delivery and possession of dangerous drugs, officials said in the release.
