North Texas Mega Millions player claims $2 million prize on winning lottery ticket
A North Texas resident won $2 million in a Mega Millions prize drawing on Jan. 24, according to the Texas Lottery.
The winner, who lives in Grand Prairie, chose to remain anonymous.
The ticket was sold at Ballpark Beverage, a convenience store at 2100 E. Lamar Blvd. in Arlington.
The player chose the numbers on the ticket and selected the Megaplier feature, which can be used to multiply non-jackpot winnings, lottery officials said in a news release. The ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (8-12-43-52-62), but not the gold Mega Ball number (18).
Mega Millions drawings are broadcast on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:12 p.m. CT and can be streamed online.
