Mom, recently widowed and with medical issues, needs help from Goodfellows

Elsa’s life changed drastically as the fall arrived.

Her husband passed away three months ago and life has brought some challenges that followed. She has three children, and while two are older (23 and 19), the youngest is only 5 and has autism.

In addition, she has been diagnosed with lumbar osteoarthritis.

“We are going through some difficult moments, both emotionally and financially,” she said. “We would like it if you can help us. If you agreed, it would be a lot.”

The Goodfellow Fund understands and is there to help. The Star-Telegram charity has been assisting families for over a century.

This year the fund is providing $50 gift cards that can be used to purchase clothing and/or shoes for children.
