5 injured, 1 critically, when Jaguar, Fort Worth city bus collide

Five people were injured, one critically, when a Jaguar sedan and a Fort Worth T bus collided Saturday afternoon in central Fort Worth, according to police and emergency medical officials.

The accident happened just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of East Berry Street and South Riverside Drive, said MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky.

The driver of the Jaguar, which suffered the brunt of the damage, was critically injured and taken by ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital, Zavadsky said.

“Four other people were injured,” he said. “Three of those were taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital with minor injuries, and one was treated and released” at the accident scene.
