SUV driver killed in crash on U.S. 287
A man was killed Wednesday evening when his Chevrolet Trailblazer slammed into a guardrail on U.S. 287 at East Loop 820, police said.
The SUV was seen “driving erratically, going from lane to lane” on northbound U.S. 287, Sgt. Steve Enright, a police spokesman, said.
When the Trailblazer hit the inside guardrail, the driver was ejected.
The vehicle landed upside down between north- and southbound lanes in the median, Enright said. The wreck was reported at 7:01 p.m.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, a MedStar spokesman said.
