Police need help identifying east Fort Worth robbery suspects
Police are asking for public assistance identifying two suspects accused of using a woman’s credit card after her purse was robbed at gunpoint in east Fort Worth.
One of the suspects, police said, robbed the woman as she was walking to her apartment in the 7600 block of Courtney Oaks Drive at about 11:30 p.m. on July 20. That suspect, a black male, was described by police as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He was wearing a white tank top and a flannel shirt with a blue bandana over his face.
Two days later, on July 22, the woman’s credit card was used by two men at multiple gas stations in east Fort Worth, including Texaco and Shell Stations in the 6600 block of Meadowbrook Boulevard.
Police obtained surveillance video from the Texaco of two men, one of whom had tattoos along the back of his right arm.
