An unidentified 18-year-old man was being treated for injuries received Thursday night after he jumped from a moving truck that was traveling through Godley on FM 2331, according to authorities.

The teen was arguing with his mother about 9 p.m., got angry, opened the door and jumped from the vehicle, Johnson County Sheriff Bob Alford said.

The truck was traveling inside the Godley city limits at about 60 mph, Alford said.

The teen was injured on his face and head, Alford said.

The teen was angry because he did not pass a driving test, according to Alford.

The teen’s condition could not be learned on Friday.
