With the tap of a button, it’ll be easier to stay safe this 4th of July weekend in North Texas.

The popular ride-sharing app Uber has joined forces with Mother’s Against Drunk Driving in order to promote safe choices and fight against drunken driving this weekend, a news release said.

Uber riders can take a pledge now through July 4th to not drink and drive. A donation of $2 will be made to MADD for the first 1,000 pledges done through the Uber app.

It is no surprise that 4th of July is one of the most common times of year for people to make the mistake of getting behind the wheel after a night of drinking. Drunken driving caused 41 percent of all traffic deaths during Independence Day weekend throughout the United States in 2014.

Here’s how to take the pledge:

  • Open the Uber app, tap the menu icon at the top left and click promotions
  • Type in the code “MADDDAL16
  • By submitting the code, you are making the pledge to drive safe this weekend and not get behind the wheel after drinking.
