Police chase stolen perfume from Fort Worth to Dallas
Officers chased suspected perfume thieves from a store in north Fort Worth to Dallas early Tuesday morning, police said.
Fort Worth police received a call at 3:11 a.m. Tuesday, that led to the chase, police spokesman Sgt. Marc Povero said.
Authorities tracked suspects using a GPS device attached to a piece of merchandise taken from Ulta at Heritage Trace Parkway and I-35W, Povero said.
He said the chase ended in a neighborhood in Dallas. The suspects, who stopped in the driveway of a residence, were detained with assistance from the Dallas Police Department and Dallas Sheriff’s deputies at 4:06 a.m., he said.
Povero said police recovered several bottles of perfume.
