Fort Worth police seeking man who robbed store near TCU
Police are seeking a robber who brandished a semiautomatic handgun and demanded money at a Fort Worth convenience store Monday night.
The robber, police said, was described as a black or Hispanic man with a light complexion.
He robbed a store in the 3700 block of Granbury Road, a few blocks south of TCU, at about 10:50 p.m. Monday, police said.
Surveillance video shows the man running into the store and pointing a gun across the counter. Police said he jumped over the counter twice during the robbery. He was last seen running toward University Drive.
He was wearing dark pants, a dark-colored long-sleeved T-shirt and a black “The Money Team” baseball cap, police said. He covered his face with a mesh mask.
He is possibly in his late teens or early 20s and is 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, police said.
