Man, 91, fatally struck by vehicle in Jacksboro Highway mobile home park

A 91-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in a mobile home park off Jacksboro Highway, authorities said.

Wayne Towery, 91, of Fort Worth was pronounced dead at 8:03 p.m., the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office reported.

The incident occurred in the 10000 block of Jacksboro Highway, according to MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky.

The man was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition at 5:41 p.m., Zavadsky said.

Fort Worth police were investigating.
