Motorcyclist killed on south Fort Worth road
A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning when he lost control on a sharp curve in far south Fort Worth, police said.
Lonnie Henderson, 58, died of head injuries, the Tarrant County medical examiner reported. His death was ruled an accident. Henderson’s town of residence was not reported.
The crash was reported about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of East Risinger Road. A passer-by called 911 after seeing a body and a motorcycle in a dry creekbed off of East Risinger Road.
Police said they believe Henderson failed to make the sharp curve and crashed into the ravine.
Investigators had not determined whether speed was a factor, according to preliminary police reports.
