Forest Hill police seek 2 armed robbers
Forest Hill police asked for help Thursday to identify two armed men who walked into a convenience store on Mansfield Highway on Monday night and took an undisclosed amount of money.
Police released photos taken by store security cameras. One photograph is a close-up of the two men taken by a camera on the counter; the second was taken by a camera on the ceiling.
The holdup occurred about 11:15 p.m. Monday at EZ Mart in the 4900 block of Mansfield Highway in Forest Hill.
The men entered the store, selected a few items and approached the counter, police Capt. Jerry Cozby said in a news release.
One man had a handgun, and they both demanded money from the clerk, Cozby said.
After getting money, they left the store. The clerk could not describe the getaway vehicle.
One robber wore a dark shirt and an orange cap with the letters TX. The other wore a light blue shirt with dark blue stripes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Forest Hill police at 817-531-5278 or Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477.
