Man arrested in fatal stabbing of cousin in northwest Fort Worth
A 29-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in the fatal stabbing of his cousin a day earlier.
Timothy “Dustin” York turned himself in Wednesday afternoon at the downtown police station. He was in the Mansfield jail Thursday with bail set at $250,000.
He faces a murder charge in the death of his 24-year-old cousin, Conor Lee Davis.
The stabbing occurred about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday outside the Meridian Apartments in the 4400 block of Montecito Way in northwest Fort Worth.
Homicide Sgt. Joe Loughman said neither cousin had an apartment at the complex but had apparently been staying there. The two argued, which prompted the stabbing, he said.
Davis was taken to an area hospital where he died about 5 a.m., Loughman said.
In his mugshot, York shows to have one black eye and a cut near his other eye. Loughman said investigators do not know where or when York suffered his injuries.
