Flower Mound woman arrested after boyfriend shot

A 34-year-old Flower Mound man was shot in the chest early Thursday in a home on Braxton Lane, Flower Mound police said. His 26-year-old girlfriend was arrested.
A 34-year-old Flower Mound man was shot in the chest early Thursday in a home on Braxton Lane, Flower Mound police said. His 26-year-old girlfriend was arrested.

A woman called 911 early Thursday to report that she had shot her live-in boyfriend, Flower Mound police said.

Patrol officers who went to the residence in the 3900 block of Braxton Lane found a 34-year-old man shot in the chest. He was hospitalized in fair condition Thursday, police said. His name was not released.

Blair Buckley, 26, of Flower Mound was arrested. She faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was in the Flower Mound jail. Bail had not been set Thursday afternoon.

The investigation was continuing, police Capt. Wess Griffin said in a news release.
