Fort Worth police seek help finding armed robbery suspect
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the man who robbed a 7-Eleven in the Medical District last week.
The robber entered the store at 1622 Hemphill St. about midnight on March 15. He threatened the clerk with a semiautomatic handgun as he demanded money. After he got the cash, he ran west on Allen Avenue and south on a side street, police posted to Twitter.
He had tried to rob a store in the 2800 block of Eighth Avenue about 45 minutes earlier, police said.
Police described the robber as black, 18 to 25, about 5 feet 11 and slender. He was wearing dark Levi-brand jeans, a dark hooded jacket and had light-colored high-top shoes with a dark-colored area at the laces and a stripe on the inside of the shoes. He was wearing blue and white plaid undershorts and had a dark face covering, police said. Robert Cadwallader
