A man who robbed two banks in December may have struck again Wednesday, police said.

A robber handed a note to a teller at the First Convenience Bank in the Kroger store at 6650 N. Beach St. at 10:34 a.m. He took cash and walked north on North Beach, police said in a Twitter post.

A robber of similar appearance held up the First Convenience Bank in a Wal-Mart on Anderson Boulevard on Dec. 30, and the First Convenience Bank in a Kroger on Interstate 20 in Grand Prairie on Dec. 15.

Police described the robber as black, of average build and 5 feet 9 to 5 feet 10. He was wearing jeans and and white tennis shoes, a black Carhartt-type hooded jacket and a dark ball cap with an orange letter M. He wore sunglasses and a blue surgical mask.

Anyone with information about the robber is asked to contact detectives at 817-989-3330.
