Man found fatally shot at west Fort Worth apartments

A man fatally shot at the Serrano Ranch apartments in far west Fort Worth Monday night has been identified as 22-year-old Quindell Norment, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

The first 911 call came in at 8:49 p.m. The caller said a man was lying on the ground in the parking lot of the complex in the 8000 block of Calmont Ave. He was not breathing and bleeding from the back of his head, according to a police incident report.

Norment was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:05 p.m. from a gunshot wound to the head.

The investigation is continuing and no arrests had been made as of Tuesday.
