Man wounded in Fort Worth shooting

A man was shot in the leg during an apparent altercation Sunday morning, police said.

Patrol officers responded to the shooting call about 3:30 a.m. at 8701 West Freeway.

The victim, an adult male, was shot once in the leg during, Fort Worth Police Department spokesman Lt. R. L. Krouse said in an email. he victim was too intoxicated to provide more information, Krouse said.

He was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

No other injuries were reported. — Dylan Bradley
