Woman in critical condition after SUV crashes through Colleyville liquor store
A 36-year-old woman was flown to a Dallas hospital Thursday night after she was pinned under a SUV that crashed through the front of a liquor store.
A Mazda SUV drove onto the lot at Hall’s Wine & Spirits at 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of 4200 Glade Road and Texas 121. The driver kept going through a front door, said Colleyville Sgt. Chuck Tinsman.
“We do believe alcohol was involved,” he said.
The woman was pinned under the SUV and it took a while for firefighters to get to her, Tinsman said. She was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Another woman, 44, was taken by ambulance to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital H-E-B and was in stable condition after 8 p.m., he said.
The driver, 68, was arrested at the scene, Tinsman said, but he didn’t know what charges the driver might face.
The business is a longtime convenience store, gas station and wine and spirits shop, a city spokeswoman said.
