Mineral Wells woman dies after Fort Worth crash

A Mineral Wells woman was who struck by a vehicle on a Fort Worth highway last week died Wednesday.

Clarise Schwartz, 61, first was involved in a collision on Friday in the 9500 block of west I-30, near Loop 820. She pulled to the shoulder, got out of the car to inspect the damage and was struck by another vehicle, police said.

She died at JPS Hospital in Fort Worth at 4:47 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
