One adult dead in fiery wreck
An adult died Sunday night after a single-vehicle wreck on eastbound Interstate 30 and Linkcrest Drive close to the Interstate 20 split.
The first crews arrived on the scene at 8:55 p.m. to find the car on fire, authorities said. Responders could not immediately tell whether the person died from the fire or the wreck, said Lt. Kyle Falkner, a Fort Worth fire spokesman.
No one else was injured in the single-vehicle wreck, MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said. The driver was the only person in the car, he said.
The victim, whose name was not available, was pronounced dead at 9:05 p.m., Zavadsky said. — Monica S. Nagy
