A man and woman have been arrested, and police are still searching for a third suspect in connection with the robbery and fatal stabbing of a 52-year-old man inside his Fort Worth home in September.

Spencer Lee Vines, 27, and April Sue Molina, 34, were arrested on capital murder warrants Wednesday in connection with the death of Martin Dominguez.

Both remained in the Mansfield Jail on Friday with bail set at $250,000 each.

A co-worker/friend had gone to Dominguez’s house in the 3700 block of Honeysuckle Avenue Sept. 20 after being unable to reach him by phone.

Dominguez was found dead in a bedroom with a stab wound in the chest.

Homicide Sgt. Joe Loughman said police believe that Dominguez was killed either late Sept. 19 or early Sept. 20 and that the killers stole some of his property.

He said Dominguez is believed to have known at least one of his killers.

Tarrant County court records show Vines pleaded guilty in October to possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) in exchange for two years’ deferred adjudication probation. He has previous misdemeanor convictions in Tarrant County for criminal trespass, harassment and interfering with an emergency call.
