Fort Worth men shot in Polytechnic Heights drive-by
Two men were taken to a Fort Worth hospital, one in critical condition, Sunday night after a shooting on the city’s southeast side, MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said.
A 911 caller told police at 8:18 p.m. that someone drove by his house in the 3400 block of Avenue J and shot at his brother, according to a Fort Worth police incident report.
Three men were struck by bullets that came from a black SUV, said officer Tamara Pena, a police spokeswoman.
Two of the men were shot in the legs, Pena said. The third had torn clothing, she said.
Emergency medical service workers found one of the men in critical condition and another with minor injuries, Zavadsky said. They were both taken to John Peter Smith Hospital.
