Man struck, killed by train in Benbrook
A Union Pacific train struck and killed a man in Benbrook early Sunday.
The man was walking on the tracks at about 8:15 a.m. when an eastbound train hit him near the 7000 block of Vickery Boulevard, Union Pacific spokesman Jeff DeGraff said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not been identified.
There were no injuries to the train’s crew, and the train left the area just before noon, DeGraff said.
