Driver killed in Fort Worth rollover on I-35W near Texas 114 identified
A man killed Friday morning when his Ford Explorer flipped on Interstate 35W has been identified.
Witnesses told investigators that the man’s Explorer was northbound when it crossed a solid yellow line and onto the paved shoulder near Texas 114, Fort Worth police previously told the Star-Telegram.
Kirby Krum, 59, was pronounced dead at 6:54 a.m. at 15900 North I-35W, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s officer.
He appeared to over-correct to get back on the highway and lost control, causing the vehicle to flip, according to police.
Krum died of massive blunt force trauma to his head and upper left extremity, due to the rollover with partial ejection, the medical examiner reported. — Monica S. Nagy
