The 20-year-old victim was asleep on the couch of a home at 1911 Ave. E. southeast of downtown “when multiple shots went through this location, hitting him once in the lower back,” said Sgt. Daniel Segura, a police spokesman.
The shooting call came into police about 3 a.m.
