Woman, 29, killed in Jacksboro Highway crash
A 29-year-old woman was killed and two men were seriously injured Wednesday night in a wreck on Jacksboro Highway in Lakeside, officials said.
Brittany Bowhay of Fort Worth was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 9:38 p.m., according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
Bowhay was the passenger in a four-door red car. The car and a two-door gray car collided about 9:20 p.m. on Jacksboro Highway eastbound at Confederate Park Road. The gray car was entering the highway from Confederate Park Road when it collided with the eastbound red car, said Terry Grisham, a sheriff’s department spokesman.
The drivers, both men, were injured. They were taken to a hospital, MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said.
The accident was being investigated Wednesday night, Grisham said.
