Officials identify worker killed at Fort Worth construction site

A Grand Prairie construction worker was identified as the victim of a fatal accident at a construction site over the weekend, officials said Sunday.

Candelario Morales, 44, was killed Saturday morning, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website on Sunday. Morales died at the scene.

The incident occurred in the 6100 block of Old Decatur Road in northwest Fort Worth. Morales’ cause of death was still pending.

Emergency crews responded to the accident shortly after 11 a.m. at the Longhorn Crossing Apartments.

Officials said it appeared that Morales fell more than one story and some objects landed on him.
