Fort Worth police are searching for suspects accused of stealing “numerous” cellphones at gunpoint last week.

Two masked suspects, one armed with a handgun, walked into a T-Mobile store at 1801 Eastchase in east Fort Worth about 10 a.m. Oct. 5 and demanded access to a store safe, according to a Fort Worth police news release.

A customer entered the store during the robbery and was ordered to the floor by the suspects, the release said. The suspects then ordered an employee to open the back door, and fled through it.

They appeared to be targeting Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S phones, police said.

The first suspect is described by police as 6 feet, 3 inches to 6 feet 5 inches tall, slender, black and wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, white tennis shoes and a red and white baseball cap with “Beer” as part of a logo.

The second suspect is also black and described as 5 feet, 11 inches to 6 feet, 1 inch tall, medium to slightly heavy build and wearing a dark, long-sleeved shirt, dark pants and dark tennis shoes with white soles. He was also wearing a dark baseball cap with a logo on the front.

Police said the suspects arrived at the store in a white newer model Chevrolet Avalanche pickup with tinted windows. The truck was driven by a third suspect.
