Denton police continue search for weekend bank robber
A bandit dressed in a camouflaged baseball cap and shorts robbed a bank Saturday morning without brandishing a weapon.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money.
The holdup was reported shortly after 9:30 a.m. at Point Bank, 1700 N. Carroll Boulevard.
The suspect walked into the bank and handed a teller a note which said that he was robbing the bank. No weapon was seen, police said.
After collecting the cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Police during the weekend released a photograph of the suspect who can be seen standing in front of the teller. A bank surveillance camera took the photograph of the suspect.
Witnesses described the suspect as a white man, in his late 30s or early 40s, clean shaven with short hair. He was wearing a camouflaged baseball cap, a green plaid button down shirt, and tan or olive green shorts.
The suspect has what appears to be a mole or scar in front of his right ear by his right sideburn, and another mark or scar in front of his right earlobe at his jaw.
