Suspect identified in fatal Fort Worth shooting
A suspect arrested this week in the fatal shooting of a man outside an east side convenience store has been identified as Antwane Daville Henderson.
Henderson, 33, of Fort Worth faces a murder charge in the slaying of 55-year-old Jeffrey Boozer.
Homicide Sgt. Joe Loughman said Boozer was in a group at the intersection of Hatcher and East Berry streets, near a convenience store, when Henderson approached and shot him.
Henderson walked away but was quickly caught and brought in for questioning. He was arrested the next day on a murder warrant.
The men were acquaintances, Loughman said. Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting.
Henderson remained in the Mansfield Jail on Friday with bail set at $500,000.
