Burleson motorcyclist killed in wreck in Fort Worth
A 36-year-old Burleson man was killed Wednesday afternoon when his motorcycle and a pickup collided, police reported.
Todd Healey was pronounced dead at 3:05 p.m. in the roadway at 1900 Burleson-Retta Road, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. The manner of death was blunt force trauma to head.
Healey was westbound on two-lane Burleson-Retta Road when the pickup began to turn left onto 13700 Southern Oaks Drive. Healey attempted to pass the pickup but hit it, police Sgt. Steve Enright wrote in an email.
The pickup driver was uninjured.
Police are investigating, but charges are not expected, Enright said. —Monica S. Nagy
