Three people accused of robbing a couple at gunpoint last week are still being sought by Fort Worth police.

Around 9 p.m. Friday, a pair approached a man and a woman from behind, pointed a black gun at them, and demanded his wallet and her purse, according to a police news release.

The pair fled in a dark Ford Taurus driven by a third person, officer Tamara Pena said.

The incident occurred at an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Broadmoor Drive in west Fort Worth.

The robbers used one of the couple’s credit cards to buy gas 30 minutes later, police said. Police have not identified any of the suspects.
