Masked man sought in Fort Worth shooting

Police are searching for a masked man who shot another man at a southwest Fort Worth apartment complex early Wednesday.

A man in his 30s was shot in the forearm outside his apartment in the 6000 block of Ridgecrest Lane, police said. The man was asked “by an acquaintance to step out the door of the apartment” at 3:25 a.m., police said.

When he did, he was confronted by a black man wearing a mask, who shot him and left, police said.

The wounded man was taken by private vehicle to a hospital. His condition was unavailable.
