Police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 52-year-old man found dead inside his north Fort Worth home Sunday afternoon.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office has identified the man as Martin Dominguez.

Homicide Sgt. Joe Loughman said a co-worker/friend had gone to Dominguez’s house in the 3700 block of Honeysuckle Avenue on Sunday afternoon after being unable to reach Dominguez. The two men were to leave together for a job that night, Loughman said.

Dominguez was found in a bedroom with a stab wound to the chest, according to the medical examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead at 2:40 p.m.

Although no manner of death had been ruled in the death as of Monday afternoon, Loughman said it is believed to be a homicide.

No arrests have been made.
