Police seek suspect accused of biting, stabbing man in Fort Worth

Fort Worth police are searching for a fugitive accused of biting a man on the shoulder, stabbing him in the arm and stealing his car last week, according to a release Thursday.

David Allen Seymour, 36, is considered armed and dangerous by police and presumed to be driving a white 2007 Ford F-150 pickup, which he is accused of stealing from the parking lot of a hospital in Sherman.

Police said the suspect led officers from nearby Collinsville on a high-speed chase early Friday in a 1993 Mitsubishi GT 3000 he is accused of stealing from a man in Fort Worth, police said.

Collinsville police arrested Seymour and released him to a hospital after he showed signs of a drug overdose. After treatment, he left the hospital Saturday, and is accused of then stealing the white pickup truck.

According to a Fort Worth police, the first car theft took place after Seymour approached a man in the 7400 block of North Beach Street last Thursday night and asked for a ride to the Fort Worth Stockyards. The man refused, and drove to a nearby 7-Eleven, where Seymour jumped in front of the man’s car.

The man drove around Seymour, but later saw him again at a gym business. The man confronted Seymour, who is accused of biting and stabbing him, then stealing his car, according to the release.

Seymour is five feet, six inches tall, 175 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of the truck theft, Seymour had a slight Mohawk strip on the center of his head. Police said Seymour is homeless and has a criminal history in South Carolina, Alabama and Texas. The truck had Texas plates FPZ4523.
