Arrest made in Crowley man’s killing
A man was arrested Tuesday afternoon in connection with a killing at a Crowley residence Monday night, police said.
Justin Lee Wall, 33, was located and arrested by Crowley police about 1 p.m. Tuesday, police said. A murder charge against Wall was pending — a first-degree felony. His bail was set at $150,000.
Police had been searching for Wall overnight, after Steven Scott, 24, was shot and killed at his home in Crowley.
Officers responded around 9:13 p.m. Monday to an emergency call in the 700 block of Meadowlark, where a woman said her husband, Scott, had been shot.
First responders found Scott on the floor with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds, according to a Tuesday morning news release. Scott was transported to Huguley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:01 p.m.
Police said investigators have not determined whether Scott knew his assailant.
