Police hunt gunman who accosted woman in west Fort Worth
Police are looking for a man who put a gun to the back of a woman’s head about three weeks ago.
The woman told police she was walking her dogs in the 4400 block of White Settlement Road along the Trinity River when a man walking by commented on her dogs.
The woman walked away, and the man continued in a different direction. But suddenly, the woman said, she was grabbed around the neck, and the man put a black pistol to her head.
The woman screamed and dropped to the ground, then jumped up and ran away. The man fled over an embankment.

— Fort Worth Police (@fortworthpd) August 28, 2015The man is described as white, in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall and 300 pounds, with short, dark, curly hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black loose-fitting pants, and black tennis shoes.
He had a slightly protruding forehead and had a white hand towel draped over his arm. Anyone who might have seen the man is asked to call detectives at 817-392-4707.
