Motorcyclist killed in Keller crash identified
The motorcyclist killed Monday afternoon when he crashed into a car on U.S. 377 has been identified as a 21-year-old.
Joseph Cruice of Keller was pronounced dead at 2:29 p.m. The cause of death was massive blunt force trauma of the torso and extremities, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
The crash occurred near Kroger Drive when Cruice slammed into the passenger side of a Lexus turning into a shopping center at 1495 S. Main St. and then flipped onto the top of the car, Keller police told the Star-Telegram. Witnesses told police he had been weaving in and out of traffic at speeds up to 100 mph.
Two people in the car had to be extricated and then were flown to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Their conditions were not available Tuesday night.
