A man accused of shooting a woman multiple times at an apartment complex Saturday morning has been identified as Parker Craig, police said Sunday.

Craig, 41, briefly held police at bay at The Club at Fossil Creek, 3400 Western Center Boulevard, before he jumped out a second-story window and was arrested.

The woman, who was not identified, was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in serious condition. Her condition was not available Sunday.

Police responded to a disturbance call in north Fort Worth at The Club at Fossil Creek apartment complex a little before 9 a.m. Saturday.

Police found the woman, who had been shot multiple times in the upper torso, outside the apartment. She told police the gunman was still inside, said officer Daniel Segura, a police spokesman.

Craig, who was armed, barricaded himself in the apartment.

SWAT officers deployed gas in the apartment and Craig jumped out the window.
