Person hit and killed by vehicle in I-20 crash in Fort Worth, police say

A person was hit and killed by a vehicle on Interstate 20 in Fort Worth on Sunday night, according to authorities.
Police were called at 9:56 p.m. Sunday to the eastbound lanes of I-20 near Oak Grove Road in response to the crash.
Upon arrival, officers found the person who was struck by a vehicle.
The person was pronounced dead on the scene, and will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
All eastbound lanes were closed for several hours due to the accident.
The Fort Worth police Traffic Investigation Unit is looking into the cause of the fatal crash.
