Modern Art Museum offers free admission to people who receive SNAP benefits
The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth announced Monday that it has joined Museums for All, a program that allows visitors who receive SNAP food benefits to receive free entry into the gallery and special exhibits.
Museums For All is an initiative encouraging regular museum visits. The program is a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Association of Children’s Museums. Beginning June 2, people receiving SNAP benefits can present their EBT cards at the admissions desk in the Grand Lobby to get up to four free tickets.
Museums For All is part of The Modern’s “broad commitment to seeking, including, and welcoming all,” the musuem said in a press release.
