Flipped 18-wheeler closes Northwest Loop 820 in Fort Worth in both directions
Police have closed Northwest Loop 820 in both directions near Quebec Street and Navajo Trail in Fort Worth because of a wrecked semitrailer truck.
The person reporting the crash about 9 a.m. said the 18-wheeler flipped to the opposite side of the freeway and that fuel had spilled, according to a Fort Worth police record.
Other details, including whether anyone was injured, were not immediately clear.
The Texas Department of Transportation advised drivers to seek alternate routes. TxDOT and police did not give an estimated time when the freeway may reopen to traffic.
