A block of West Magnolia Avenue is closed starting April 10 due to construction on the JPS Health Network campus, the hospital district said.

The block of West Magnolia between St. Louis Avenue and South Main Street closed Friday at 5:30 a.m. The closure will remain in effect through at least Sunday, and will possibly last until Monday because of potential inclement weather, according to the hospital district.

The closure is due to the construction of the health network’s new medical outpatient building, part of JPS’s $2.5 billion bond program, which will build the medical outpatient building as well as a new hospital, a new neighborhood clinic, and other projects.
