27-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash along I-35W in north Fort Worth

A 27-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash Saturday morning on the Interstate 35W service road in far north Fort Worth.
Police and fire department medics responded to the fatal crash near Alliance Boulevard about 2:40 a.m.
The motorcycle hit an unknown object, and the rider was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, police said.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as William Christian Nichols.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
