A man who led police on a chase reaching 99 mph through east Fort Worth Sunday afternoon before barricading himself in his house remained in jail on Monday, police reported.

Antonio Juan Delgado, 28, of Fort Worth, faces charges of evading arrest and bodily injury/family. He was in the Mansfield jail with bail set at at total of $7,500.

Patrol officers were sent to a house in the 5100 block of Nolan Street off East Seminary Drive at 2:15 p.m. Sunday on a disturbance call, Cpl. Tracey Knight, a Fort Worth police spokeswoman, wrote in an email.

Upon their arrival, Delgado took off in his pickup, traveling along several streets including Wilbarger, East Berry and Miller. Police put down traffic spikes to try to him, but he evaded them, according to conversations on the police radio scanner.
