Fast-growing Aledo is getting a sports complex with pickleball, a restaurant, a pro shop and more.

On Friday, LanCarte Commercial Real Estate announced the sale of 5.4 acres at 400 Bailey Ranch Road to Elmore Investments, which plans to open a sports complex near Aledo High School.

The sports complex is at the intersection of Bailey Ranch Road and Farm Road 1187, adjacent to Aledo High School.

The complex will include pickleball, tennis and padel courts, softball and baseball training facilities, a pro shop and a restaurant.

“This sale reflects the ongoing momentum in Aledo, which is rapidly becoming a hub for growth and opportunity,” said Kristen Fegley, who represented the seller.

Fegley said construction is scheduled to start this year and the complex is expected to open in late 2026, she said.

A restaurant hasn’t been named, but Fegley said more information should be available soon.

The complex is geared for Aledo and the surrounding area, she said. “Sports is really big in Aledo.”
