Kroger expects fall opening for Marketplace store in far north Fort Worth
The much anticipated Kroger Marketplace in far north Fort Worth is scheduled to open this fall, according to a company spokesman.
John Votava, director of corporate affairs for the Dallas/Fort Worth region, said in an email, “We are targeting a grand opening this fall.”
The store at 113 E. Bonds Ranch Road at U.S. 287 will feature a wider range of products including home goods, electronics and clothing.
The Bonds Ranch Marketplace will also feature a gas station.
Construction is also underway on a Kroger Marketplace at a roughly 20-acre shopping center planned for the northeast corner of Rancho Canyon Way and Sendera Ranch Boulevard.
The store, expected to open in 2026, will serve people around Haslet, Avondale and southeast Wise County who had to drive miles for shopping and other errands.
